OK. Dictation Number 2. Was it easy for you?

Heh. Well, George had the first line, George from the Seinfeld.

And he says,“Jerry,what time do you have?” And then Jerry responded,“I have 5 o’clock”

So did you get it?

Now, a lot of students, I know, do have some problems.
我晓得，许多学生的确有一些疑问。
What time——
Now we got two sounds, sound the same,then we connect the sound, and we only keep the second one.
What的t和time的t，两个t声响相同。咱们连读，只保存第二个音。
do you——The faster we say it, the “you/u/” gets shorter.
咱们说得越快，“you/u/”的音就越短。
“what time do you have?” And “I have 5 o’clock”——And this word "have" and this word"have"
两个语句里边的have
There is a pronunciation rule. I call it the 7Hs.
有一个发音规则。我称之为7个H原则。
And the words are,he, her, him, his, had, has, and have.
这些词是”he, her, him, his, had, has, and have”
Now these words are very common in daily English.
这些词在往常英语中很常见。
And a lot of native speakers, especially Americans,
许多以英语为母语的人，特别是美国人，
when we say it fast, when we speak it quickly, we can' t hear the “h/h/” sound.
当咱们说得快，说得很快，咱们听不到“h/h/”的声响。
OK? The 'h' is cancelled, it's a cancellation.
好吧？h被撤消了，这是撤消。
I have 5 o’clock——And we say it quickly once again,we can get rid of the “h/h/” sound.
我5点有时刻——咱们再快速地说一遍，咱们就可以消除“h/h/”的声响，h不发音。
I have 5 o’clock——I have five o’clock——
Now,there is another link.We have a “h/v/” sound here and "five",it' s a “f/f/” sound,right?So,we have the similar sounds,we connect the sound,and only keep this one.
我5点有时刻——还有另一个联接。咱们这儿有have的v音和5five的f音，对吧？所以，咱们有类似的声响，咱们联接声响，只保存这个f的音（第二个音）。
Now,the key, everybody,when you' re speaking English,say it like a human.what time do you have?That’s ok.Or,you can look your watch,Ohhh, my watch is not working , what time do you 
have?And you gotta check your watch, ohhh, you check your phone,you check your watch,（and say) I have five o' clock.
要害是，每自个，当你说英语的时分，要说人话。你几点有时刻？没联络。或许，你可以看看你的表，哦，我的表坏了，你几点有时刻(问另一自个)？你得看看你的手表，哦，你看看你的手机，你看看你的手表，（然后说）我五点钟有时刻。
what time do you have?Do you have 5 o’clock?That was today’s dictation，yesterday’s
dictation.And today we have a brand new one.It’s one sentance.It’s not too difficult.
你几点有时刻？你5点有时刻吗？这是今日的听写，昨日的听写。今日咱们有一个全新的语句，只需一句话，不算太难。
