1. 蹦蹦跳跳地走

eg: The little girl skipped happily along beside her parents after visiting the zoo.

参观完动物园之后，这个小女孩跟在父母身边蹦蹦跳跳地走。

2. 跳绳

eg: Skipping was very popular among girls when I was in primary school.

我上小学的时候，跳绳在女孩子当中非常流行。

3. 不做（应做的事等）；不参加

He skipped two classes to go to his idol’s concert.

他翘了两节课去看他偶像的演唱会。

4. 跳过（正常的步骤等）；略过；漏过

eg: The teacher skipped the first paragraph for we have covered it yesterday.

老师跳过了第一段，因为我们昨天已经讲过了。

5. 快速转移；骤然转换（话题）

eg: He suddenly skipped to another subject before I answered his question.

我还没回答他的问题，他就突然跳到下一个话题了。

6. 悄悄溜走；突然离开

二、skip的常见短语该怎么用？

1. skip off 溜走; 匆匆离开

eg: He skipped off when he knew it was his turn to pay the bill.

他知道轮到他付账的时候，他就悄悄溜走了。

2. skip over 忽略,略过

eg: He just skipped over the first question I put forward.

他直接忽略了我提出的第一个问题。

3. skip through 跳读; 浏览

eg: The student skipped through the whole passage before class.

上课之前，这个学生浏览了一下整篇文章。

4. skip about 跳来跳去

eg: The students are skipping about on the playground.

学生们在操场上跳来跳去。

三、“换个话题”原来是这么表达的

1.我不想聊这个话题了。

Just skip it. We’ve talked about it before.

跳过这个话题吧。我们以前聊过。

I don’t want to talk it anymore. It made me upset.

Let’s drop the subject. It’s totally old cliché.
