big fish是“大鱼”？small fish是“小鱼”？

其实a big fish in a small pond是一个英语中的俚语，表示的就是某个小圈子或小组里的比较杰出或重要的人。

例句：

You should go to a smaller company so you are a big fish in a small pond.

Kettle of fish也是一个非正式的说法，用来表示情况非常混乱，或是处于困境。

如果加一个different，就变成了different kettle of fish，又可以用来表示“另一码事”的意思。
