1、Spring Festival

Spring Festival is the most important festival in China .It’s to celebrate(庆祝) the lunar calendar ‘s (农历)new year .In the evening before the Spring Festival, families get together and have a big meal .In many places people like to set off firecrackers (鞭炮). Dumplings (饺子)are the most traditional (传统的)food .Children like the festival very much ,because they can have delicious food and wear new clothes .They can also get some money from their parents. This money is given to children for good luck . People put New Year scrolls (春联)on the wall for good fortune(运气).

The Spring Festival lasts about 15 days long .People visit relatives(亲戚) and friends with the words “Have all your wishes ”. People enjoy the Spring Festival, during this time they can have a good rest .

Things Happened in Spring Festival Today, I went shopping wit-h my parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. It was a r-are(难得的) occasion (场面)because we hardly only get together few times in a year as a big family. On the way to the shopping mall, we watched the lion dance(舞狮表演).Overall, we had an unforgettable(难忘的) day.

2、A Farewell Party

It’s the end of the school year. The students in Class Three have a farewell party. They invite their parents to the party. Many students have performance at the party.

Look! Chen Jie is singing songs. Zhang Peng is playing the piano. Sarah is playing the erhu. Mike is doing Chinese Kung fu. What is Miss White doing? She is dancing.

Everybody has a lot of fun. But Liu Yun isn’t here. She has a cold. She is at home. The classmates are going to visit her after party. They prepare many gifts for her. And they will take a picture together.
